LocalTakehome provides educational estimates of U.S. take-home pay for tax year 2026. It is not tax advice, payroll advice, financial advice, or legal advice. It is not a substitute for your employer’s payroll system, a CPA, an enrolled agent, or the IRS Tax Withholding Estimator.

Results can be wrong. Brackets change, localities reset rates, and this model skips credits, itemized deductions, multi-state credits, and many local jurisdictions. You are responsible for what you do with a number from this site, including an offer you accept or a form you file.

The site is provided as-is, without a warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, liability for use of the estimates is disclaimed. There is no account to terminate. These terms apply when you use the pages.

Do not present a LocalTakehome result as an IRS certification or as your exact paycheck. The product will not say that, and neither should a screenshot of it.
